I heard nothing but good things about this place and had high expectations and they were all exceeded. Food was excellent but seating is limited. We took home their pasta, sauce and signature wine and cooked an amazing meal at home. Highly recommend this place in downtown Norfolk.

I’ve gotten the F.A.F.O. sandwich twice now and it is phenomenal. This might be the best deli sandwich I’ve ever had. The ingredients taste high quality and the bread is perfection. Ignore the price and just get the sandwich, you won’t regret it.

We decide to try this spot, the chicken parm, and FAFO with 2 drinks and a bottle of their fine Italian sauce- about $74 dollars for everything. This spot was definitely a place that I will return. One sub is enough for one person unless you don't eat pork and need a extra one ..lol I love trying authentic food with substance. I made my own lasagna and the sauce that I purchased and it was delicious, it came out perfect. Remember you are paying more so the quality of the ingredients and it was definitely worth it.

Mercato Di Grazia by Chef Antonio Caruana Italian Market and Deli located at 245 Granby Street in the heart of downtown Norfolk is open at last! I highly recommend this wonderful eatery and deli. They have a fantastic selection of Italian meats and cheeses from the old country. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with questions and suggestions if you're on the fence about what to order. We tried the Porketta Bout It consisting of shaved herb Porketta, sliced Brie, Marinated Broccoli Rabe, sweet brined red onion and hot honey on a freshly baked, sesame seed HERO roll. This was a terrific sandwich, the Brie compliments the sandwich very well and all of the other ingredients were fresh and delicious! Check them out at your first opportunity, you'll be glad you did and you can rest assured that you are supporting our local business community! E ora si mangia! (And now we eat!)
